　はじめに

　早期喉頭癌の治療法としては，制御率の高さや音声機能が保存できる点から，近年では放射線治療が多くの症例で第1選択となっている。しかし放射線治療は，副作用として急性浮腫や皮膚障害，造血器障害などの早期障害のみならず，治療後数か月を経て現れる骨，軟骨壊死や二次性発癌などの晩期障害を引き起こす可能性がある。喉頭壊死は稀な晩期障害であるが^1,2），今回われわれは喉頭癌で照射後9年目に喉頭壊死をきたした症例を経験したので報告する。

A 67-year-old male suffered from a pain at theanterior region of the neck, and he underwent the radiation therapy of 111.4 Gy for his laryngeal cancer 9 years ago. He developed a necrosis of skin, subcutaneous tissue and the thyroid cartilage. The infection in the necrotic tissue produced an abscess formation and fistulization of the larynx, where he received radiotherapy. It was considered the lesions as the late post irradiation complication.
