Medial maxillectomy via lateral rhinotomy approach has been the standard treatment for inver-ted papilloma of the nose and paranasal sinuses. The authors treated three patients with inverted papilloma with endoscopic sinus surgery. All patients were found no carcinoma. Two patients with recurrent tumor in the ethmoid sinus under-went additional endoscopic sinus surgery. Based on our experience, the limited lesions in the nasal cavity, the ethmoid and sphenoid sinuses (including recurrent case) have good indication of endoscopic sinus surgery.
