頬部に発生した石灰化上皮腫の1例

A Case of Calcifying Epithelioma in the Cheek

　はじめに

　石灰化上皮腫は若年者の顔面，上肢などに好発する毛嚢系腫瘍である。組織学的には主として好塩基細胞とそれより移行する陰影細胞よりなる。従来，皮膚科領域の疾患として取り扱われ，耳鼻咽喉科領域での報告は少ないが，頭頸部領域が好発部位である。今回われわれは，左頬部に発生した石灰化上皮腫の1例を経験したので報告する。

Calcifying epitheliomas of malherbe (pilomatrix-omas) are benign calcifying tumors that arise from the hair matrix and present as a slow-growing dermal or subcutaneous mass most commonly locat-ed in the head and neck. Most are benign and slow growing and do not recur after excision. A very rare case of calcifying epithelioma of malherbe with a rapid evolution and an eruptive variant in a 11-year-old girl was reported.
