側頸部に発生した石灰化上皮腫の1例

A case report of calcifying epithelioma in the lateral cervical area

Ⅰ　はじめに

　石灰化上皮腫は1880年，Malherbeら^1）により初めて報告された，毛母細胞由来の良性腫瘍である^2）。その好発部位は頭頸部領域や上肢である。治療は主として皮膚科領域で扱われており，耳鼻咽喉科領域での報告は少ない。

　今回われわれは右側頸部に発生し，悪性疾患と鑑別が必要であった石灰化上皮腫の1症例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　Calcifying epithelioma is a benign tumor arising from the hair matrix cells. Many patients with this disease are treated by dermatologists,but since it often affects the head and neck region,otorhinolaryngologists may also treat it. Here,we reported a case of calcifying epithelioma in the lateral cervical region.
