側頭骨に発生した線維性骨異形成症の1例

Fibrous Dysplasia of the Temporal Bone

　はじめに

　線維性骨異形成症（fibrous dysplasia）は原因不明の慢性骨疾患で，主に脛骨，大腿骨などの下肢の長管骨に発生する。耳鼻咽喉科，頭頸部外科領域では上顎骨，下顎骨に発生することが多いとされ^1），側頭骨に発生した症例は稀である。今回われわれは側頭骨に発生し，一部後頭骨に病変が及んでいた線維性骨異形成症の1例を経験し，過去の本邦報告例を検討したので報告する。

A rare case of fibrous dysplasia of the temporalbone in a 61-year-old man was reported. A retro-auricular bony swelling was noticed at 20 years old. But he has never visited any ENT clinic. CT-scan showed thickened and enlarged temporal bone. Biopsy at the retroauricular region was per-formed, and histological examination revealed typi-cal findings of fibrous dysplasia.
