頭頸部に発生した深部脂肪腫の2例

Two Cases of Lipoma in the Head and Neck

　はじめに

　脂肪腫は成熟した脂肪組織から構成される非上皮性の良性腫瘍であり，頭頸部領域における発生頻度は約10％を占めるといわれている^1）。しかし，頸筋膜浅葉の内側から発生する深部脂肪腫は比較的稀な疾患であり，また発見されにくいこともあり，その報告は5cmを超える大きいものが多いようである^2,3）。今回われわれは，比較的小さな深部脂肪腫の手術例を2例経験したので，若干の考察を加えて報告する。

Case 1 : A 49-year-old male had a lipoma in the right periparotid gland.

Case 2 : A 52-year-old male presented with a lipoma in the right posterior neck region. CT scan and echogram were useful for diagnosing the lipomas. The lipoma was 50 mm in size, and removed with no complications in each case.
