脊髄に転移を来したと考えられる口蓋扁桃細網肉腫の1例

　I．緒言

　細網肉腫は耳鼻咽喉科領域，ことに口蓋扁桃に発生するものが最も多いため，われわれの領域に於ては必ずしも稀なものではないが，本肉腫は元来悪性度が極めて高い上に早期に全身各所に転移を来たし易く，そのため不幸な転帰をとる場合が少くない。私は最近左口蓋扁桃に原発した細網肉腫で，経過中に突然下半身の脊髄横断症状を来たした興味ある症例を経験したので報告し，御批判をあおぐ次第である。

A diagnosis of reticulosarcoma that origin-ated in the tonsil was established in a wom-an, aged 49. The tonsillectomy was performed along with a radical neck dissection for re-moval of cervical glands; irradiation treat-ments were given as postoperative measures. But, during the course of these treatments the patient showed signs of tumor metastasis in the spinal column with resulting paralysis of the lower half of the body. The patient died.
