癌と鑑別が困難であった耳下腺膿瘍の3症例

Three Cases of Abscess of the Parotid Gland

　はじめに

　成人の耳下部に局在する腫瘤をみた場合，想定する疾患はまず耳下腺腫瘍と思われる。そして，耳下腺造影・シアロCTといった検査を施行して腫瘤を確認し，漏洩像があれば悪性腫瘍を疑うことが一般的である。今回われわれは，術前に耳下腺悪性腫瘍と診断して手術を施行し，術中あるいは術後に耳下腺膿瘍と診断された3症例を経験したので考察を加え報告する。

From the preoperative findings of sialography and sialo-CT, the lesions were diagnosed as malignant tumor. However, pathological diag-nosis was an abscess of the parotid gland. On the radiological examinations, abscess in the parotid gland is not distinguishable from tumor of the parotid area. It is important to distinguish abscess from tumor by many points such as physical, radiological and blood examinations.
