　はじめに

　近年，頭頸部癌の治療として化学療法が繁用されている。なかでもシスプラチン（CDDP）と5-Fluorouracil（5-Fu）を併用するCF療法は奏効性の高い化学療法と考えられている。

　このCF化学療法の主な副作用としてはCDDPの腎毒性，消化管障害，大量の5-Fu投与による口内炎，骨髄抑制，心毒性が知られている。今回，CF療法をinduction chemothcrapyとして用いた舌癌の症例で，従来の5-Fuで誘発される骨髄抑制とは異なった著明な血小板減少症をきたし，さらに特発性血小板減少性紫斑病（idiopathic throm-bocytopenic purpura；ITP）を合併した症例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

A 65-year-old female with carcinoma of the tongue suffered from idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) after induction chemotherapy. Steroid treatment and a high dose immuno-globulin treatment increased platelet counts.

Platelet counts and the hemostatic control were good enough for surgical treatment.

She underwent the removal of tumor, bilateral radical neck dissection and reconstruction by D-P flap. She remained free from carcinoma of the tongue and ITP for 4 months postoperatively.
