側頸部腫脹で発症した頸部巨大静脈血栓の1例

Large Cervical Phlebothrombosis:Report of a Case

　はじめに

　静脈血栓はほとんどが下肢の静脈に起こり，頸部に認められることは稀である。比較的多いとされる内頸静脈血栓症を除けば頸部の巨大血栓は過去に報告がない。今回われわれは側頸部腫脹で発症し腫瘍と考え摘出したところ，巨大な頸部静脈血栓であった症例を経験した。極めて稀な症例であり，若干の文献的考察を加え報告する。

A male patient presented a large phlebothrom bosis in the lateral neck. The lesion was suspec-ted to be cervical lymphadenitis, and was treated with antibiotics and antiphlogistics. However, the lesion was not disappeared, and a benign tumor was suspected. Eventually, a large thrombosis which was unrelated to the internal jugular vein was removed.
