Pembrolizumab was administered as an initial therapy for advanced sphenoid sinus cancer. However, 3 weeks after the first dose, the patient developed Steven-Johnson syndrome, preventing further administration. Although the immune-related adverse effects(irAEs)were severe, a single dose led to significant tumor shrinkage. Tumor reduction was maintained for >2 years without additional anticancer therapy.
