当院での小児睡眠時無呼吸症候群に対する術後経過の検討—アンケート調査から

Evaluation for clinical symptoms of children who underwent adeno-tonsillectomy for obstructive sleep apnea syndrome（OSAS）using questionnaires

はじめに

　小児睡眠時無呼吸症候群（OSAS）の原因として口蓋扁桃肥大，アデノイド増殖症があり，そのため両側口蓋扁桃摘出術＋アデノイド切除術が多くのOSASに奏効することは知られている。しかし何歳で手術するのがよりよいのか，また手術によりどのような症状が改善するのかなど，詳細に検討された報告は少ない。

　今回，当院で診療を行っている小児OSAS児に対して，術前と術直後，術後1年ごとにアンケートを行って臨床症状を調査し，術後の治療効果を明らかにしたので，若干の文献的考察をふまえて報告する。

　We have studied the clinical symptoms of children who underwent adeno-tonsillectomy for OSAS in our department, by questionnaires.

　Methods：We have sent questionnaires about 7 sleep symptoms and 6 daytime symptoms to patient families every year. Then we had analyzed these date.

　Results：Children with OSAS after surgery had significantly improved sleep symptoms as a whole and had continued to keep it for a year. They had significantly improved daytime symptoms and almost all of them had continued to keep it for a year.

　Conclusions：sleep and daytime symptoms improved after surgery in our department.
