内頸静脈の腫瘍塞栓をきたした甲状腺乳頭癌の1例

Thyroid papillary carcinoma with internal jugular vein invasion: a case report

はじめに

　甲状腺濾胞型乳頭癌は乳頭癌の亜型であり，腫瘍のすべて，あるいは大部分が胞状構造を呈する乳頭癌である。通常型乳頭癌よりも甲状腺外進展，リンパ節転移の頻度が低く，予後良好であるとの報告がなされているが，今回われわれは甲状腺濾胞型乳頭癌で内頸静脈に腫瘍塞栓をきたし，腕頭静脈まで進展したと考えられた1例を経験したので報告する。

　Thyroid papillary carcinoma is malignant tumor that accounts for more than 90％ of thyroid cancer. Although thyroid papillary carcinoma often causes lymph node metastasis, the progress of lymph node metastasis is slow and the prognosis is relatively good. In addition, thyroid papillary carcinoma with tumor embolism to great veins is rare.

　In this report, we report an example of total thyroidectomy and cervical lymphadenectomy for thyroid papillary carcinoma and internal jugular vein tumor embolus.
