内視鏡下に摘出した上顎洞内含歯性囊胞の5例

Five cases of maxillary dentigerous cyst removed by endoscopic sinus surgery

はじめに

　含歯性囊胞とは濾胞性歯囊胞のうち，埋没歯を囊胞内に含むものを指し，歯根囊胞とは異なり歯冠もしくはその一部を包含する発育囊胞^1）である。歯科口腔外科領域において診療されることの多い疾患^2,3）であるが，囊胞性病変が上顎洞内へ進展した場合には耳鼻咽喉科領域の診療対象となりうる。耳鼻咽喉科領域からの含歯性囊胞の報告は比較的稀であるが，近年当科にて上顎洞内含歯性囊胞症例を5例経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　Dentigerous cyst is associated with the crown of an impacted, unerupted, or developing tooth. Usually it grows slowly and rarely occupies the maxillary sinus. It is benign but requires histopathologic examination for diagnosis. Though the Caldwell-Luc approach has been the gold standard treatment for extensive maxillary sinus cyst, the reports of endoscopic removal are increasing in recent days. Most of the cyst can be completely removed endoscopically and less invasively. We think endoscopic approach is good for maxillary sinus dentigerous cyst.
