生後2か月で発症した咽後膿瘍の1症例

Retropharyngeal Abscess in a 2-month-old Infant―A Case Report―

I．はじめに

　咽後膿瘍は，上気道閉塞を伴い重篤な経過をとることがある。的確な診断のうえ，早急に適切な治療が必要な疾患である。乳幼児に多いとされてきた本疾患も中高年に増加している傾向にある^1）。乳幼児では抗生剤の発達によって比較的稀な深頸部感染症となった。しかし，耐性菌が増加してきており，発生原因や原因菌に変化が起きているため^1），時に重篤化することもあり，十分な注意が必要である。

　今回われわれは，生後2か月で発症した咽後膿瘍の1症例を経験したので報告する。

　A 2-month-old infant was admitted to our hospital with increasing snoring and sleep apnea without fever. On the initial examination,the posterior wall of pharynx in the right side showed a swelling. CT scan confirmed the presence of a retropharyngeal abscess. Drainage was performed under general anesthesia in an intraoral approach on the day of admission. PRSP was detected from pharyngeal space,and MRSA was detected from retropharyngeal space. Although retropharyngeal abscess is relatively rare,understanding of this disease and appropriate treatment are required.
