先天性眼トキソプラズマ症に乳頭隣接網脈絡膜炎が再燃した59歳女性を報告した。本症例には，先天性眼トキソプラズマ症の陳旧性網膜瘢痕病巣が両眼に認められていた。血清トキソプラズマ抗体価は軽度上昇のみで，経過観察期間中に大きな変動をみなかったが，アセチルスピラマイシンが著効した。
A 59-year-old female presented with active juxtapapillary chorioretinitis of Edmund-Jensen in her right eye. Both eyes showed scars of congenital ocular toxoplasmosis. Serum antibody titer for toxoplasma was slightly and persistently elevated. Systemic acetyl spiramycin was very effective in inactivating the lesion.
