網膜色素変性患者の前房レーザーフレア値

Aqueous flare values in eyes of retinitis pigmentosa

（25E-8）　定型網膜色素変性36例70眼の前房フレア値を，レーザーフレアセルメーターを用いて測定した。網膜色素変性眼の前房フレア値（9.7±4.4photon counts／ms，平均±標準偏差）は正常対照（4.5±0.9）に比べて有意に高値であった。螢光眼底造影で後極部に螢光漏出がみられた26眼のフレア値（11.9±4.1）は，螢光漏出のみられなかった28眼（7.7±2.7）に比べて有意に高値であった。また，螢光眼底造影上嚢胞様黄斑浮腫（CME）がみられた5眼のフレア値は著しく高値であり，前房フレア値上昇と血液網膜柵障害との関連が示された。レーザーフレア測定は，本症において，CME発生につながりうる血液網膜柵障害の程度を推測するために有用であると考えられた。

We quantitated the aqueous flare level in 70 eyes of 36 patients with retinitis pigmentosa (RP) . A laser flare-cell meter was used in the measurement. Aqueous flare levels averaged 9.7 ± 4.4 photon counts/ms (mean ± s.d.) . The values were significantly higher than normal controls (4.5±0.9) 0.9) . Aqueous flare levels in 26 RP eyes with dye leakage in the posterior fundus by fluorescein angiography showed significantly higher values than those in 28 RP eyes without dye leakage (11.9 ± 4.1 versus 7.7±2.7) . Five eyes with angiographycally evident cystoid macular edema showed markedly elevated aqueous flare levels. The findings indicate that elevated aqueous flare is accompanied by impaired blood-retinal barrier.
