（P−2-126）　1996年から1998年までの3年間に，国立善通寺病院眼科で裂孔原性網膜剥離に対し強膜インプラント法で初回手術を行った54例54眼について検討を行った。全例にジアテルミー凝固，シリコンインプラント，輪状締結を行い，40.7％（22眼）に硝子体内気体注入を併用した。初回復位率は81.5％（44眼），再手術では硝子体内気体注入を7眼，インプラント追加＋硝子体内気体注入を2眼，硝子体手術を1眼に行い，最終復位率は100％と良好な成績を得ることができた。気体注入の併用が裂孔閉鎖の補助に有用であった。視力は多くの例で改善もしくは不変であったが低下が14.8％あり，術後合併症ではmacular puckerの頻度が高かった。

We reviewed 54 eyes of rhegmatogenous retinal detachment treated by scleral implant surgery during 3 - year period. All the eyes received diathermy coagulation, silicone implant and scleral encircling. Intravitreal gas injection was performed in 22 eyes. The retina became reattached in 44 eyes (82%) after the initial surgery. Eventual retinal reattachment was obtained in the other 10 eyes following subsequent surgery by intravitreal gas injection 7 eyes, additional implanting with intravitreal gas 2 eyes, and vitrectomy in 1 eye. Adjunct use of intravitreal gas was useful in closing the retinal break. The visual acuity improved or remained except in 8 eyes (15%) . Macular pucker developed in 5 eyes (9%) as the most frequent postoperative complication.
