鈍的外傷による眼球破裂の視力予後についての検討

Visual outcome of rupture of the eyeball

　1998年までの3年間に，東北大学医学部附属病院眼科で経験した鈍的打撲による眼球破裂の10例10眼の視力転帰を検討した。0.02以上の視力が得られたのは4眼であった。視力転帰は裂傷の位置と範囲と関係していた。強角膜縁に近い裂傷はこれよりも後方に及ぶ裂傷よりも，そして裂傷が1象限以内のものはこれ以上のものよりも，転帰が比較的良好であった。

We reviewed 10 eyes of 10 cases of eyeball rupture due to blunt trauma seen by us during the past 3 years regarding the visual outcome. Final visual acuity of 0.02 or over was achieved in 4 eyes. The visual outcome was related to the location and extent of eyeball rupture. Fair visual outcome resulted when the rupture was located near the sclerocorneal limbus and when it was less than one quadrant in extent.
