抗緑内障点眼薬の単剤あるいは2剤併用の長期投与による角膜障害の出現頻度

Incidence of keratopathy following long-term instillation of single or multiple antiglaucomatous medications

（B2-2-5）　同一薬剤を28か月間継続して点眼している緑内障154眼につき，角膜上皮障害の頻度を調査した。全例を2か月ごとに検索した。使用した薬剤は，イソプロピルウノプロストン，カルテオロール，チモロールの3種類で，単独投与群と2剤併用群に分けて検討した。角膜上皮障害の頻度は，単独投与群で12.9〜32.5％．併用群で40.0〜66.7％であり，併用群で多かった。上皮障害は同一症例で繰り返して起こる傾向があり，個々の症例での眼表面の状態がこれに関係していることが推察された。

We reviewed the incidence of keratoepithelial disorder in 154 glaucoma eyes which received the same topical medication for 28 months. All the eyes were examined every 2 months. All the eyes received isopropylunoprostone, carteolol or timolol either singly or as combination of two agents. Keratoepithelial disorder was detected at the incidence of 12.9% to 32.5% during single medication and 40.0% to 66.7% during combined medication. The difference between single and combined medication was significant (p＜0.05). There was a tendency for the same eyes to develop recurrent keratoepitheliopathy. It appeared that the status of ocular surface may be related to this finding.
