  • Look Inside

We reviewed the incidence of keratoepithelial disorder in 154 glaucoma eyes which received the same topical medication for 28 months. All the eyes were examined every 2 months. All the eyes received isopropylunoprostone, carteolol or timolol either singly or as combination of two agents. Keratoepithelial disorder was detected at the incidence of 12.9% to 32.5% during single medication and 40.0% to 66.7% during combined medication. The difference between single and combined medication was significant (p<0.05). There was a tendency for the same eyes to develop recurrent keratoepitheliopathy. It appeared that the status of ocular surface may be related to this finding.
