汎用ソフトウェアを用いた医療画像ファイル転送とテレビ電話による遠隔地医療支援

Telemedicine by videofile transmission using a multi-use software and videoconferencing

（17-P3-25）　汎用通信ソフトウェアと既存のパーソナルコンピュータ（PC）2台を用いて医療画像ファイル転送システムを構築し，病診連携への応用性について検討した。PCをモデムまたはターミナルアダプタを介して，①アナログ内線電話回線，②アナログ一般電話回線，③デジタル一般電話回線で接続し，標準化画像ファイル（163KB）の転送時間を測定した。その結果ファイル転送時間はアナログ回線で約1分，デジタル回線ではやや短縮された。付属するテレビ電話機能の描画速度はコマ送り的なものであったが，画質は白内障手術後前眼部所見を容易に視認できた。このシステムはコストパフォーマンスに優れ，応用範囲も広く，小規模のデータ交換を行う際にはまず試みてよい方法である。

We built an medical image transmission system utilizing two personal computers and a multi-use software. The video images (163 KB) were sent between the two computers, via a modem or terminal adapter, over the analogue in-house phone network, analogue general phone network, or digitalized general phone system (ISDN) . The image transmission was completed in less 1 minute over the analogue networks and faster over ISDN. The picture frequency of videoconferencing function was similar to still image transmission over any of the three phone networks. The transmitted image was clear enough to show the anterior eye segment after cataract surgery but not finer details as aqueous floaters. The present system is cost-efficient and promises to be of value in communicating medical video data. It is particularly useful in data transmission on a small scale.
