網膜静脈閉塞症での血中リポプロテイン（a）値とニセリトロール投与の効果

Serum lipoprotein (a) levels and effect of systemic niceritrol in cases of retinal vein occlusion

　血清リポプロテイン（a）値を，網膜中心静脈閉塞症36例，網膜静脈分枝閉塞症42例，正常者43例で測定した。網膜静脈分枝閉塞症例では，リポプロテイン（a）値が正常者に比較して有意に上昇していた（p＜0.001）。網膜中心静脈閉塞症例でも同様であった（p＜0.02）。ニセリトロールを投与した網膜静脈閉塞症15例では，リポプロテイン（a）値が投与後に有意に低下していた（p＜0.1）。血清リポプロテイン（a）値の上昇が，網膜中心静脈閉塞症と分枝閉塞症の危険因子であること，そしてニセリトロールがリポプロテイン（a）値を低下させることを示す所見である。

We quantitated the serum level of lipoprotein (a) in 36 cases of central retinal vein occlusion, 42 cases of branch retinal vein occlusion and 43 normal persons. Serum lipoprotein (a) was significantly elevated in cases of branch retinal vein occlusion (p ＜ 0.001) and in central retinal vein occlusion (p ＜ 0.02) . Serum lipoprotein (a) was reduced after systemic niceritrol (p ＜ 0.01) . The findings show that elevated serum level of lipoprotein (a) is one of the risk factors for central and branch retinal vein occlusion and that systemic niceritrol may reduce the serum level of lipoprotein (a) .
