  • Look Inside

We treated two cases of Harada disease by systemic administration of methylprednisolone for three days followed by tapering of the doses. Both cases showed, initially, shallow anterior chamber and prominent choroidal detachment. The affected eyes responded promptly to the treatment a few days after start of treatment. Choroidal detachment rapidly subsided with favorable outcome and without side effects. These cases illustrate that severe Harada disease may favorably respond to systemic treatment with massive methylprednisolone.
