  • Look Inside

Retrospectively, the predictability of SRK II formula was evaluated in 533 pseudophakic eyes. These cases were divided into 4 groups according to the type of IOLs implanted (U691F2, PC45NB, NR84C, 818T). In each of the 4 IOL groups, the cases were divided into 5 subgroups according to their anterior chamber depth (2.0-2.5 mm, 2.5-3.0 mm, 3.0-3.5 mm, 3.5 mm-4.0 mm, 4.5 mm).

The post operative refractions were evaluated. Vaulting tests were also done on each IOLs.

In the U691F2 groups, subgroups of shallow anterior chamber (2.5-3.0 mm) showed significantly more hyperopic refraction than the other subgroups. In the PC45NB group, the subgroup with anterior chamber depth of 2.5-3.0 mm showed significantly more hyperopic refraction than the others. These two IOLs showed a larger posterior shift in the vaulting test.
