A 5-month-old male infant presented with bila-teral corneal opacity on day 36 after onset of Kawasaki disease. The stromal opacity seemed to have developed following symptoms of common cold after initial remission of Kawasaki disease. The corneal opacity was the same in intensity in both eyes, simulating frosted glass. It was ac-companied by conjunctival injection and punctate epithelial lesion. The corneal opacity started to gradually disappear starting with the limbal por-tion after initiation of instillation of pranoprofen ophthalmic solution. The present case is of interest as there has been no reported incidence of corneal stromal opacity associated with Kawasaki disease so far.
