超未熟児における水晶体血管膜の臨床的観察

Clinical observations of tunica vasculosa lentis in extremely premature infants

　1989年1月より1990年7月までに東邦大学病院NICUに入院した1,000g未満の超未熟児28例について，水晶体血管膜の消長と未熟児網膜症の関連につき検討した。対象の90％に水晶体血管膜を認め，その88％に未熟児網膜症を認めた。水晶体血管膜のなかった症例には未熟児網膜症を認めなかった。水晶体血管膜の観察は，超未熟児における未熟児網膜症の眼科管理に有用であることが示唆された。

We evaluated 28 extremely premature infants weighing less than 1,000 g regarding retinopathy of prematurity and tunica vasculosa lentis. We obser-ved tunica vasculosa lentis in 89% of the cases. Conversely, retinopathy of prematurity was presentin 88% of eyes with tunica vasculosa lentis.There was no instance of retinopathy of prematurity in infants without tunica vasculosa lentis.The findings indicate that identifying tunica vasculosa lentis serves as a guide in assessing the prognosis of retinopathy of prematurity in extremely premature infants.
