千葉労災病院において10年間で経験した転移性眼内炎の4例

A ten-year review of metastatic endophthalmitis at Chiba Rosai Hospital

要約　目的：過去10年間に千葉労災病院で経験した転移性眼内炎4例の報告。

症例：4症例は，73歳女性，49歳男性，73歳男性，60歳男性で，基礎疾患として，肝膿瘍，細菌性髄膜炎，膵癌と急性骨髄性白血病，肝膿瘍がそれぞれにあった。最終視力は光覚なし2例，0.15，1.2であった。早期の診断確定と硝子体注射の複数回施行が転帰を大きく決定する要因であった。

結論：転移性眼内炎の進行は急速で，早期の眼科受診と早期の硝子体注射が望まれる。

Abstract　Purpose: To report 4 cases of metastatic endophthalmitis seen during the past 10 years at Chiba Rosai Hospital.

Cases: This retrospective study was made on 4 cases： 73-year-old female, 49-year-old male, 73-year-old male and 60-year-old male. Underlying disorders were liver abscess, bacterial meningitis, pancreas cancer with acute myelogenous leukemia, and liver abscess respectively. Final visual acuity was no light perception in 2 cases, 0.15 and 1.2 respectively. Early diagnosis followed by repeated vitreal injection was a decisive factor for beneficial outcome.

Conclusion: The present cases illustrate that metastatic endophthalmitis may run a fulminant course necessitating early detection and treatment of intravitreal antibiotics.
