眼内鉄片異物の1例

A case of intraocular ferrous foreign body

　眼内鉄片異物の症例に対し，Pars-planavitrectomy，眼内光凝固術および異物摘出術を施行し，合併症もなく，良好な視力を維持しえた。この症例にたいし，術前，術後の眼底写真を記録できたので報告した。

A 30-year-old male suffered from perforating injury in his left eye by a flying small ferrous material. When seen the same day of injury, the ferrous piece was floating in the vitreous. Vitreoushemorrhage and localized retinal detachment were present. We performed vitrectomy followed by xenon photocoagulation surrounding the retinal detachment and extraction of the foreign body with beneficial outcome.
