帯状庖疹ウイルス感染の疑われた急性虹彩毛様体炎の3症例

Herpes zoster infection was suspected in 3 cases of acute iridocyclitis

　高眼圧と虹彩萎縮を伴う急性虹彩毛様体炎の3症例を経験した。顔面の皮疹は認められなかったが，その特徴的な臨床経過より帯状庖疹ウイルスの感染が疑われた。

We observed fulminant iridocyclitis in 3 cases: a 22-year-old male and two females aged 55 and 68 years each. Only one eye was involved in all the cases. Ocular hypertension and eventual iris atro-phy were common clinical features.

While skin eruption was absent during the initial phase of the ocular manifestations, the clinical course and laboratory tests were highly suggestive of herpes zoster viral infection.
