Gonioscopic findings after trabeculotomy.:part 1. Basic patterns

　トラベクロトミーを施行した77眼の術後隅角所見での裂隙・虹彩前癒着（PAS）・血液逆流・隅角角度による基本パターンを解説し，程度分類を定義した．広範囲癒着型PASは若年者群で53％に対して，高齢者群では5％と有意な相違を認めた．また周辺虹彩切除術併用群において35％に対して，他は26％と前者にやや高い傾向を認めた．早期穿孔は9カ所に認めたが，8カ所には裂隙の一部を認めた．トラベクロトミーにおける術後隅角所見を解析することは，手術効果と機序を解釈するうえで，意義を有すると考えられる．

We evaluated the gonioscopic features following trabeculotomy in 77 eyes with different types of glaucoma. We observed wide peripheral anterior synechia reaching into the cleft in 53% of glaucoma in juveniles and in 5% in seniles. Wide peripheral anterior synechia was seen in 35% of cases after trabeculotomy with peripheral iridectomy and in26% after trabeculotomy alone. Cleft in the trabecular meshwork was a common finding. Signs of premature perforation by the probe into the anterior chamber were detected in 7.5% of the eyes.Gonioscopic assessment seemed thus to be of value in evaluating the surgical effect and the mechanism of trabeculotomy.
