天理病院における超音波白内障乳化吸引術（KPE）7年間の総括—その1．併発症と長期予後

Seven-year results of Kelman phacoemulsificadon.:Part 1. Complications

　今回われわれは当院で白内障超音波乳化吸引術を行った1,137眼のカルテによるretrospective studyと長期予後を知るための145眼の呼び出し調査を行い，以下の結果を得た。術中併発症として全症例中硝子体脱出を3.4％，後嚢破損を1.8％に認めたが，その予後は比較的良好であった。一方，核落下は発生数は少なかったが，術後低視力例があり特に注意すべき併発症であった。長期併発症では網膜剥離が6限（0.53％）に発生した。併発症のうちで最も多い後発白内障はカルテ調査では5.1％あったが呼び出し調査では17.9％あり実際にはもっと多い併発症と考えられた。

　We evaluated the operative and post-operative complications of phacoemulsification on 1,137 eyes during the period from 1976 to 1982. Vitreous loss occurred in 39 eyes (3.4%), followed by posterior capsule rupture in 20 eyes (1.8%), loss of lens nucleus particles into the vitreous in 5 eyes (0.4%), retinal detachement in 6 eyes (0.53%) and formation of after cataract in 58 eyes (5.1%). Fall of lens fragments into the vitreous occasionally resulted in poor visual outcome.

　We also evaluated 145 eyes (126 cases) who were operated on before 1978, after an average interval of 5 years and 7 months.
