Studies on stereoacuity thresholds measured with the random dot stereo slides. IV

　Synoptophore用random dot stereo slideを用いて不同視，完全調節性内斜視，間歇性外斜視の立体視検査を行った。

（1）不同視，完全調節性内斜視においては，視力不良が近見と共に立体視の低下を招く。

（2）完全調節性内斜視は眼位の不安定さのため，不同視より立体視不良例が多かった。

（3）間歇性外斜視は立体視検出不可能な症例が多く，手術後も1／3が検出不可能なままであった。

We designed random dot stereo slides for syn-optophore from TNO stereotest. These slides were then used to measure the stereoacuity thresholds in aniseikonia, accommodative esotropia and intermittent exotropia. The findings differed in each of these three disease conditions.

In aniseikonia and accommodative esotropia, the deterioration in stereoacuity appeared to be due to deterioration in visual acuity.

The stereoacuity was more deteriorated in accommodative esotropia than in aniseikonia due to instability of the eye position in the former.
