網膜黄斑静脈閉塞症におけるアルゴンレーザー光凝固法の適応

The role of photocoagulation treatment in 11 cases with macular branch vein occlusion

　11例11眼の網膜黄斑静脈閉塞症のうち10例10眼にアルゴンレーザーによる光凝固を施行し良好な結果が得られた。精密凝固により十分に黄斑部浮腫の軽減に寄与し視力の回復に意義があると考えられた。

A clinical analysis of 11 cases with macular branch vein occlusion was presented. Nine cases showed an amelioration of vision during the observation period ranging from 4 months to 48 months. Ten cases underwent argon laser photo-coagulation, revealing a remarkable response. Although the natural course of this condition is not fully clarified, argon laser therapy seems worthy of note in that it facilitates the resorption of macular edema.
