後天性Duane症候群の1例

Acquired Duane's syndrome

　2歳，女子の後天性に発症したと思われるDuane症候群の1例を報告した。外傷などの原因がなく後天性に発症し，典型的なDuane II型を示した症例はこれまでの文献にみられない。左眼内転障害および外斜視，それによる頭位異常があり，左眼外直筋後転によって内転障害を軽減させ，外斜視および頭位異常を治癒せしめた。

We observed a 2-year-old female child with acquired Duane's retraction syndrome of which the initial sign became manifest after 1 year of age. The patient manifested exotropia and head-tilt to the right because of resticted adduction of the left involved eye. On attempted adduction, narrowing of the palpebral fissure and retraction of the eye-globe were induced. There was no past history of orbital trauma. Photographs taken at the age of 10 months indicated that no defective adduction had existed. This case appeared to be the first repore in literature of acquired and typical Duane II synd-rome.
