KPE手術教育の経験

Resident cataract surgery by phacoemulsification

　経験者の指導下で，眼科入局2年次に40症例の集中的顕微鏡下白内障全摘手術を経験後，4〜5年次にKPE手術を30〜40症例経験した。

（1）1980年4月から1982年6月までに行ったKPE手術，合計238眼につき検討を加えた。

（2）術式は主として有核白内障に対し，2手前後房法を用いて行った。

（3）術中術後主要合併症は虹彩損傷18.2％，後嚢破損13.5％，硝子体脱出12.6％，核落下0.9％，後発白内障4.7％等であった。

（4）術後視力0.5以上得られたものは70.7％であった。

（5）失明に至る重篤な合併症の発生は認められなかった。

Phacoemulsification was performed by seven residents who has successfully finished the ordinary program of intracapsular cataract extraction.

The surgical procedure adapted in this program was mostly anterior-posterior method with two hands technique. Among complications, posterior capsule rupture was observed in 13.5% of the operated eye, vitreous loss was 12.6%.

No serious complication leading to loss of vision was observed in this series.
