糖尿病性網膜症と血清脂質

Diabetic retinopathy and serum lipoproteins

　糖尿病127例と対照80例について，脂質化学的分析，および血清リポ蛋白質の電気泳動を実施して，次の結果が得られた。

（1）中性脂肪値，総コレステロール値と糖尿病性網膜症の進行との間には，相関がみられなかった。

（2）糖尿病に高脂血症の頻度が高かったが，網膜症の進行とは相関がみられなかった。

（3） midband Lpを糖尿病では76.4％，対照では42.5％に検出し，糖尿病性網膜症が進行すると，その出現頻度が増加し，2本以上の縞をもつmultiple midband Lpを認めるものが多くなった。このようなリポ蛋白質の異常は，網膜症の進行と関連があるのではないかと考えた。

Serum lipids and lipoproteins (Lps) in patients with diabetes mellitus were analyzed to elucidate the possible contribution of dyslipoproteinemia to the pathogenesis of diabetic retinopathy. Deter-mination of serum lipids and polyacrylamide gel disc electrophoresis of serum lipoproteins were car-ried out in 127 diabetic and 80 non-diabetic patients. The diabetic subjects consisted of 32 pa-tients without retinopathy, 56 with simple retino-pathy, 16 with preproliferativc retinopathy and 23 with proliferative retinopathy.
