　網膜静脈閉塞症22例（中心閉塞4例，分枝閉塞18例）を対象とし，脂質化学的分析ならびにLpの電気泳動を実施して，次の結果が得られた。

（1）高脂血症の頻度は，22例中6例（27.3％）であった。

（2）動脈硬化性血管病変の進展に深く関与しているといわれているHDLコレステロール，あるいはαLpの低下は稀であった。

（3） midband Lpを22例中19例（86.4％）と高頻度に認めたが，その意義については不明であった。

Serum lipids and lipoproteins (Lps) in patients with retinal vein occlusion (RVO) were analized to investigate possible contribution of arteriosclero-sis to the genesis of RVO. Determination of serum lipids and separation of serum Lps by polyacryla-mide gel disc electrophoresis were carried out in 22 patients with RVO. The patients consisted of4 patients with central vein occlusion and 18 pa-tients with branch vein occlusion.
