  • Look Inside

Three cases with Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada dis-ease (VKH) manifested optic neuritis, hemorrhage beneath the retinal pigment epithelium (RPE), or scar formation simulating Elschnig's spots dur-ing the course of the disease.

Acute bilateral optic neuritis was the initial clinical feature of VKH in a 58-year-old male. During the course of the disease, he developed optic atrophy in the right eye and diffuse choroidal depigmentation or sunset-glow fundus.
