網膜色素変性症における網膜S抗原に対する細胞性免疫能について

Leucocyte migration inhibition test (LMIT) on pigmentary retinal degeneration with swine retinal S-antigen

　網膜色素変性症患者において，S抗原に対する細胞性免疫能の成立について白血球遊走阻止試験を施行し，検討したところ次の結果が得られた。（1）網膜色素変性症患掴3例中18例（42％）がS抗原に対する細胞性免疫反応に陽性を示した。（2）網膜色素変性症患苦においては，S抗原に対する細胞性免疫能が60歳未満の症例に成立していた。（3）網膜色素変性症患者においては，ERGがsubnormal型を示し，視野が100以上残っている群のS抗原に対する細胞性免疫能は，健常者群のそれに対して，著しく増強しており，有意の差が認められた（P＜0.005）。（4） ERGが消失型を示し，視野が10°未満である群のS抗原に対する細胞性免疫能は低下の傾向が認められた。

　これらの事実は，本疾患の進行過程からみると大変興味ある知見であると思われた。

Patients with pigmentary retinal degeneration (DPR) were examined by leucocyte migration in-hibition test (LMIT) for the cellular immunity against swine retinal S-antigen.

Out of total of 43 patients with DPR, 18 (42%) showed positive LMIT response. Cellular immunity against S-antigen in patients with DPR seemed to appear before the age of 60 years. Cellular im-munity against S-antigen was significantly en-hanced in patients of DPR with subnormal ERG and with more than 10°of still remnant visual field when compared with normal control (p< 0.005).
