進行性錐体・桿体ジストロフィの臨床特性

The clinical properties in progressive cone-rod dystrophy

　12症例24眼の進行性錐体・桿体ジストロフィの臨床特性を調べた。これらの症例はすべて進行性の視力低下，全色盲様色覚異常，差明等の自覚症状とERGの錐体系要素の強度異常あるいは消失，ERGの桿体系要素の減弱を共通した所見として示した。このうちの2症例は5年〜10年の経過観察中に残存していたERGの桿体系要素も消失してしまい，一見網膜色素変性様の眼科的所見を呈するにいたった。

　本症の一般的臨床特性に加え，EERや黄斑部局所ERG,VER．等を用いて本症を多面的に解析した。

We evaluated 12 patients with progressive cone-rod dystrophy. All the cases showed diminishing visual acuity, extremely abnormal color vision and markedly decreased or absent cone components in the presence of reduced rod components in the electroretinogram (ERG). In two patients, the initially present rod components in the ERG even-tually disappeared during the consequent follow-up period of 5 to 10 years. The final fundus ap-perance and electrophysiological findings in these 2 cases closely simulated those of retinitis pig-mentosa associated with macular degeneration.
