虚血性視神経症の1経過とその剖検

A Progress of Ischemic Optic Neuropathy and its Autopsy

緒言

　いわゆる虚血性視神経症Ischemic OpticNeuropathyは古くはArteriosclerotic Pa—pillitis,Optico Malacia,Vascular Pseudo—papillitis,Papillary Apopiexy，視東中心動脈閉鎖（あるいは栓塞）等の名称で呼ばれていた疾患をさすものと考えられるが，Hayreh,S．S．¹）のいうAnterior Ischemic Optic Neuropathyは視神経の虚血性障害部位をより具体的に示した病名と考えられる。

　今回われわれは，Anterior Ischemic OpticNeuropathyの発病からのほぼ全経過と発病後40日目に心筋梗塞の発作のため死亡したため，その剖検を併せ観察する機会をえたので報告する。

Recent studies to make clear the pathogenesis and clinical picture of ischemic optic neuro-pathy are remarkable. But the reports of this disease which could be followed up during its whole progress in addition to its autopsy are very few.

In this paper, we reported a whole progress of ischemic optic neuropathy and its autopsy as the patient died 35 days after the onset of eye symptom because of myocardial infarction.

The patient was 68-year-old man and had a history of hypertension. His erythrocyte sedi-mentation rate was 18mm/hour and no clinical sign of temporal arteritis was recognized.
