Intubation macrodacryocystography

　涙小管より涙道へ造影剤を注入しながら3倍に拡大して撮影するIntubationmacrodacryocystographyの手技につき説明し，涙道閉塞症，涙道狭窄症，涙道走行異常の各症例に対して本法によって得られたレ線像を報告した。本法の手技は決して繁雑ではなく，涙小管より下鼻道開口部に至る全涙道系を詳細に観察でき，造影剤を注入後1倍の拡大率で撮影して得られる従来の涙道像に比較して情報量は数等すぐれているので，涙道再建術の術前検査に広く用いるべきである。

Intubation macrodacryocystography (IMDCG) is the method that the x-ray exposure is made while the contrast medium is being injected, and a 2-3 times magnification of the lacrimal drainage system is offered by the radiographic enlargement techni-que. This technically rather simple method allows the study of anatomical details of the entire lacri-mal drainage system and is, therefore, superior to the conventional dacryocystography. Our data in normal and pathological cases suggest that the IMDCG promises to be of value as one of the es-sential examinations for the lacrimal drainage sys-tem.
