Wegener肉芽腫症の眼症状とその治験

Ocular manifestation of Wegener's granulomatosis and its treatment. A case report

　Wegener肉芽腫症の23歳女性の両眼に，眼球突出と角膜辺縁潰瘍を生じた。右眼は急速に進行し，全角膜が壊死脱落して失明したが，左眼は角膜全周被覆術がよく奏効した。後日，左眼もうっ血乳頭から視神経萎縮に陥って視力を失ったが，角膜は術後2年半を経た今日，なお健在である。本法は手技容易で手術侵襲も少なく，効果も確実で，このような病型に対してまず試みるべき方法であろう。

A 23-year-old female developed progressive nec-rotizing rhinitis associated with exudative otitis media. The diagnosis of Wegener's granulomatosis was given after infiltrative exophthalmos and mar-ginal corneal ulcers became manifest bilaterally.

The condition in the right eye rapidly progressed to total corneal necrosis necessitating evisceration of the globe. The left eye was successfully treated with circumcorneal conjunctival flap method. One year later, papilledema developed in the left eye resulting in loss of vision through optic atrophy.
