眼内レンズ挿入眼に再度の手術を行つた症例について

Reoperated cases following intraocular lens implant surgery

　眼内レンズ挿入眼に再度の手術を行つた症例の現時点における最大の問題，点は金属ループのIOLの固定にあつた。このような再手術例を減少させるためには，IOL挿入にあたつて，適応患者の選択から術後の瞳孔管理まで細心の注意を必要とするのみならず，IOLの材質，デザイン，消毒法などにも，きめ細い配慮が必要である。

In order to assess and prevent possible compli-cations of intraocular lens (IOL) implant surgery, an investigation was made into the cases who had to be reoperated on their pseudophakic eyes. Re-operations have been clone in 11 out of 75 cases who had undergone unilateral IOL, implant surgery by us during the past 5 years; 5 for dislocated IOL,5 for alter-cataract and one for secondary glauco-ma.

The final visual results in all the 5 after-cataract cases were excellent.
