Studies were made on the binocular dynamic counter-rolling induced by head tilt in 9 normal subjects, in 4 cases with positive response to the Bielschowsky head tilt test and in one case with abnormalities of otolith organs. The head tilt was caused electro-mechanically at velocities of 6° and 0.6° per second respectively. The induced counter-rolling of the eyes was photographically recorded at the rate of one and two-thirds seconds.

(1) No significant differences were found in the amplitude of dynamic counter-rolling between velocities of tilt of 6° and 0.6° second.
