  • Look Inside

I observed a case of Harada's disease in which acute angle closure glaucoma was the earliest clinical feature. The patient, a 38-year-old female, complained of discomfort and redness in both eyes. The intraocular pressure was 38mmHg in both eyes with very shallow anterior chamber and apparent angle closure. Signs of anterior-uveitis was absent. Peripheral iridectomy was per-Rimed on the right eye. Five days later, retinal edema developed in the operated eye. A similar change appeared in the fellow eye after two days. The diagnosis of Harada's disease was established on fluorescein angiographic evidences.
