Focusing Error of the Fundus Camera with Line Split Focusing System

緒　言

　自然散瞳状態で眼底撮影を行うためには被験眼に縮瞳を伴う光刺激を与えずにピント合わせを行う手段が必要になる。これには赤外線等の暗視装置の使用が考えられるが，赤外線テレビ，イメージ管等一般にこの種の装置の解像力は低く，通常の使い方では十分なピント合わせ精度が保証されない。著者らはこの解像力の低い暗視装置を使つてより高い精度を得る方法として，眼底にスプリット輝線を投影しその合致状態でピントを知るスプリット輝線合致方式を考案し，その方式による精度を検討した。

A new focusing system for the fundus camera used without mydriatic is introduced, in which split lines are projected onto the fundus and observed by infrared television. The principle and the features of the system are discussed in com-parison with conventional means. The focusing error was experimentally obtained. The degrada-tion of MTF by the focusing error was calcula-ted and compared with those of the optics of the apparatus and the film.
