職業運転手（タクシー）の疲労時における視機能について—特に両眼視機能の立場から

Visual Function of Occupational Drivers during Fatigue

緒　言

　運転能力に視機能が重要な影響を与える一つの因子であることはいうまでもない。人の視機能がいろいろな条件によつて変動することは既に多くの研究者によつて発表されている。今回われわれは職業転運手（タクシー）について，天候，走行上などの異なる環境のもとで，就業直前直後の視機能の変動を検討するために，動体視力と調節時間を調べ，両眼視機能を中心に分析してみた。また事故との関連性および運転手の適性についても検討した。

We examined 64 taxi drivers for their static and dynamic visual acuity, binocular function and accommodation/relaxation times. Findings were correlated with their working conditions, environment and ages.

Occupational exophoria was present in 27 out of the 64 subjects (42.2%). Of the 14 drivers who were considered to be prone to traffic accident, 10 (71%) manifested occupational exophoria. The weather condition and the environmental state in the car seemed to infl-uence the visual functions of the drivers.
