  • Look Inside

We observed three seasonal outbreaks of acu-te conjunctivitis and rhinitis of allergic nature during 1976. Cases occurring during March and April were found to be mainly due to Japanese cedar pollen. Out of 34 cases seen in this period, 80% showed positive reaction to the agent. The second group, occurring between end of April and June, seemed to be due to orchard grass pollen. Out of 38 cases seen in this period, 63 % showed positive reaction against orchard grass pollen. The third group consisted of cases occurring in September and October and seemed to be due to goldenrod.
