網膜剥離80眼の手術経験

Eighty operated cases of retinal detachment

緒言

　網膜剥離は網膜疾患のうちで，手術によつて最も効果を挙げ得る唯一の疾患であり，Gonin氏烙刺術によつて治療効果が劃期的に上昇して以来Diathermie凝固術，鞏膜切除短縮術，之に加うるに近年Endodiathermie，Lichtkoagulation等等その術式の進歩改良と相俟ち，症例に応じて手術方法も数種類を使い分けることが出来る結果，特発性網膜剥離の70〜80％以上が治癒せしめ得ることが出来る様になつた。

　著者は，故佐藤勉教授の御指導を受けて，昭和31年4月から昭和35年4月迄に，網膜剥離80眼に対し種々の方法をもつて手術を行う機会を得た。網膜剥離手術に関する統計の報告は砂しとしないが，田川氏の報告を除き何れも大学乃至病院での多くの術者による手術報告であつて，単一術者による報告は尠い。比較の意味でも有意義と考え，此処にその結果をまとめ，検討すると共に，特に不成功例について反省を加え，今後の進歩の為の資料として報告する次第である。

The author operated 80 eyes with retinal detachment and the operations had successful results in 70%. Among them, the author performed endodiathermy in 6 cases, and 4 cases were curved. The author confirmed the necessity of early treatmeht, because in early stage the healing percentage was very high.

The eye which decreased its detachment during the preoperational rest cure, had a good prognosis after operation, and was cured by diathermy alone. In many cases, the refraction was high myopia, -10D or more. The healing percentage was distributed equally in the ages 10-40 years.
